LEANNE BERRY

Leanne Berry joined Arch Insurance as VP, Distribution Strategy in September 2021. Prior to joining Arch, Leanne spent 19 years at AIG in a variety of roles. Most recently, she served as a Distribution Leader where she was responsible for the growth and retention of AIG’s major accounts portfolio in the Chicago Region. Leanne is an accomplished diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) leader, having served as President of the AIG Chicago Women & Allies Employee Resource Group for five years. She is currently serving on The Americas steering committee for the Dive In Festival, is an advisory board member of Chicago-based Big Careers Little Kids, is an active member of the Association of Professional Insurance Women (APIW), and a passionate supporter of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF).

Leanne is a graduate of Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, which is coincidentally where she lives with her husband and two children, Maddie (11) and Henry (8). Leanne serves as PTA co-president and when she’s not working, she can usually be found enjoying the lakefront, going to see live music, or watching her kids on the softball, baseball, and soccer fields.

JILLIAN CHOWN

Jillian Chown loves spending time understanding how organizations function and sharing exciting and novel ideas with her fellow academics. She is an Associate Professor in Management & Organizations at the Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University. For the past 10 years, she has studied how organizations change and adapt their internal structures and processes to improve performance, with a focus on expert workers and healthcare organizations. Jillian also teaches an MBA class on Leading the Strategic Change Process. Before pursuing her PhD and a career in academia, Jillian was a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. After finishing her PhD in Toronto, Canada, Jillian joined Northwestern and moved to the United States. Jillian hopes that her research regarding healthcare organizations will one-day help improve the healthcare systems we all interact with on a regular basis.

Jillian lives in Evanston, IL with her 12-year-old son Owen, her 8-year-old daughter Allison, and her Husband, Ian. She loves to play games, read books, and travel with her family. In her downtime, she also cycling, reading, and watching the latest hot shows and movies.

RACHEL COPENHAVER

Rachel Copenhaver loves tackling complex problems for clients facing high-stakes government investigations. She is a Shareholder in the Government Investigations and White Collar Defense group at Vedder Price P.C. Rachel’s practice includes representing companies and individuals in all phases of government investigations, conducting internal investigations, counseling clients during regulatory examinations, and defending companies and individuals in securities class actions, shareholder derivative lawsuits, and other litigation. Rachel has practiced at Vedder Price for the duration of her career where she enjoys collaborating with talented, thoughtful attorneys.

Rachel lives in Northbrook, IL with her six-year-old son, Lucas, six-month old daughter, Elizabeth, and her husband, Steve. She loves to spend time outdoors and visit Chicago’s many museums with her family. A self-proclaimed restaurant explorer, Rachel also enjoys researching for and planning their next trip, World War II history, and Oregon and Washington wines.

AMANDA HOLLIS

Amanda Hollis loves handling challenging cases and partnering with clients to help them achieve long-term business strategies through litigation. She is a Partner in the Intellectual Property group at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Amanda represents clients in high-stakes patent cases involving a broad range of technologies and subject matters, including companies in the pharmaceutical, biological, medical device, semiconductor, telecommunications, banking and computer hardware industries. Amanda has been practicing patent litigation for 15 years, 10 of which have been at Kirkland & Ellis.

Amanda lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her husband, Jeremy. She loves to go camping with her family and enjoys competitive running, paddle tennis and archery.

MARISSA INGLEY

Marissa Ingley loves to find practical solutions to interesting problems. She is Chief Counsel, Labor and Employment, at Archer Daniels Midland Company (ADM). With over 15 years of practice behind her, Marissa partners closely with business and human resource leaders at ADM to provide expert advice on employment and labor law issues and assist them in solving their business problems. Prior to moving in-house, Marissa was a Shareholder at the law firm Littler Mendelson. Marissa spent time as an in-house attorney at Fortune Brands Home & Security before joining ADM.

Marissa lives in Lincoln Square in Chicago with her husband, two sons and pets. Marissa’s family likes to keep busy! They enjoy skiing, bike riding, playing in the park and traveling. Marissa also enjoys exercising (when she has time), reading and trying new restaurants. 

Michelle Johnson

MICHELLE JOHNSON

Michelle Johnson loves helping her firm grow by enabling amazing people to perform at their best. She currently serves as Stout’s Chief Revenue Officer and leads the company’s strategy for long-term revenue growth by expanding the value Stout’s teams provide to clients. Prior to joining Stout, Michelle was Deputy Chief Revenue Officer at Kroll and spent over twenty years leading teams to present complex analyses to large multinational corporations’ finance and tax departments. Earlier in her career, she served as the head of U.S. operations for one of Inc. Magazine’s 500 fastest growing consulting firms. She has contributed to four books on pricing and valuation, and has guest lectured at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management on topics related to revenue growth.

Michelle lives in Evanston, IL with her young son and daughter, and her husband. She enjoys weightlifting while listening to podcasts, racing her kids down ski hills, and hiking someplace fabulous every year with her twin sister (Amanda Hollis). Recently, Michelle started playing piano again after a long break, and finally picked up golf 20 years after her dad told her it might help her career.

KATE LATTNER

Kate Lattner loves that every day and every engagement is different and comes with its own intricacies and challenges. She is a Director in the Strategic Solutions practice at Grant Thornton. She is a forensic accountant who deals with complex accounting issues, including those pertaining to disputes arising out of M&A transactions, bankruptcy and restructuring situations, government and internal investigations, and auditor negligence cases. Almost 12 years ago, Kate began her career with a Big 4 firm where she audited private equity and hedge funds. Early on she made the decision to transition to focus on the legal and consulting side of accounting. Kate enjoys finding solutions that help her clients overcome the issues they face. She feels a huge sense of accomplishment in guiding her clients towards good outcomes.

Kate lives in Old Town in Chicago with her four-year-old son Kingston, her almost-one-year-old daughter, Kennedy, and her husband, Kyle (yes, all “Ks”). Kate and her family love to travel as well as explore new places and activities close to home, especially in the summer. Kate is an avid runner, a novice foodie, a lover of wine and a Real Housewives junkie (for which she respectfully requests not to be judged).

CHRISTINA MAYTUM

Christina Maytum has spent the majority of her career in strategic finance roles and is currently the Vice President of Corporate Finance and Real Estate at Crate and Barrel. In this role, she oversees Corporate and Business Financial Planning & Analysis including forecasting and budgeting, as well as Business Development and other ad hoc finance needs for the company. She also manages the portfolio of Crate&Barrel and CB2 Store real estate holdings, including new and 100+ existing locations. Recently, she was called on to be the Interim CFO of the company while the organization searched for a new CEO.

Christina lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago and keeps very busy with sports and other activities of her two boys.

MOLLY MCGINLEY

Molly McGinley enjoys learning about different industries and handling diverse issues on a regular basis, which keeps her work challenging and fresh. She is a Partner in the Securities and Transactional Litigation and Class Action Defense group at K&L Gates LLP. For the past 12 years, Molly’s practice has centered around defending a broad range of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, small companies, investment advisers, and individual directors and officers, in high stakes class action and derivative litigation. Molly loves her practice because she trusts and admires her partners and other attorneys with whom she works and she is proud to have spearheaded the creation of the new Biometric Data Compliance and Defense group at her firm.

Molly lives in Roscoe Village in Chicago with her four-year-old son Breck, her two-year-old son Patrick, and her husband, David. Molly’s family doesn’t have any pets, but Breck does have a “pet” dinosaur that wears a leash and has a birthday almost every week. She is a classically trained violinist and loves visiting with extended family and playing outside in Chicago’s beautiful summer weather.

NOELLE PERKINS

Noelle Perkins enjoys being exposed to different industries and learning to advocate for their unique needs. She is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, Chief Risk Officer and Secretary at Univar Solutions Inc., a chemical and ingredient distribution company. She has been practicing law for approximately 20 years, over 15 of which have been in-house. There are two things, in particular, that Noelle loves about her job. First, she loves being able to contribute in a variety of ways that aren’t narrowly confined to giving legal advice or practicing law. Second, she loves helping her team grow and develop as individuals and as a collective.

Noelle lives in Western Springs, IL with her husband and two young daughters. Noelle’s favorite thing to do with her family is to ride bikes to breakfast on Saturday morning. She also loves to design and create table settings for her family’s holiday gatherings.

CHRISTINA ROUPAS

Christina Roupas partners with public companies through every step of their life cycle – from IPO to strategic acquisitions and beyond. She is a founding partner of Cooley LLP’s Chicago office and now in addition to listening to her favorite podcast, “How I Built This,” she is spending her days helping to build the team and culture of a new and growing office. Christina focuses her practice on general corporate and securities matters, including representing issuers and investment banks in capital markets and leveraged finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions and counseling public companies regarding disclosure, corporate governance, and other securities law and compliance issues.

Christina lives in Glen Ellyn, IL with her two young sons, Hunter and James, and her husband, Lee. A New York native, Christina enjoys trips to the East Coast to visit family, reading, and her beloved Peloton bike.

LISA SNOW

Lisa Snow is a managing director in the Chicago office and is a member of Kroll’s Expert Services practice. Lisa’s practice is focused on providing both expert witness testimony and financial valuation damages analysis in complex litigation and commercial dispute matters. Lisa has more than 20 years of experience leading corporate investigations addressing a broad range of accounting and financial inquiries. Lisa serves as an expert in matters in state and federal court as well as in arbitration. Lisa recently served in US District Court, Northern District of Illinois as Receiver of K.I.P., LLC and previously for Central Coast Nutraceuticals. She performs work involving damages analysis, lost profits, business valuation, forensic accounting analysis, class certification, data analysis, industry and market analysis, revenue and cost analysis and purchase price adjustments.

Lisa lives in Chicago with her husband Franco and her two daughters, Gabriella and Francesca. Her family loves to travel. When not at work or spending time with her family, you may find her at a SoulCycle class, or alternatively, enjoying a nice glass of wine.
